💼 Role Description:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Administration team on a fixed-term contract of 6 to 12 months, with a view to longer-term growth. Reporting to the Tax & Accounting Manager, you will support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the company, gaining direct exposure to accounting, tax, and treasury processes in a fast-moving renewable energy environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone completing a final internship who wants to build a serious foundation in corporate finance within the energy transition sector.
📝 Your main responsibilities will be:
- Process and book supplier invoices and client billing across domestic and international entities.
- Support payment management and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.
- Support tax return filing (VAT, CIT, withholding taxes) in coordination with the senior team.
- Maintain and organise the digital document archive using SAGE / Business Central.
- Assist with international invoice and payment workflows.
- Support in expense reporting and employee expense liquidation.
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives within the finance team.
Requisitos mínimos
🔑Requirements:
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Intermediate to upper-intermediate English level — written and spoken.
- Strong interest in finance and in the renewable energy and sustainability sector.
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Up to 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field — recent graduates and candidates without prior experience are equally welcome.
🔑 Valued Experience:
- Any prior internship or academic exposure in accounting, finance, or audit environments.
- Knowledge of or interest in the renewable energy sector.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Business Central or SAGE.
- Experience in or exposure to international or multicultural work environments.
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to financial or administrative tasks (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot).
