ABEI ENERGY is a leading International Independent Power Producer (IPP) dedicated to generating clean and renewable energy from diverse sources, including photovoltaic, wind, BESS and biomethane. With an expanding presence in Spain and key international markets such as the USA, UK, Italy, Poland, Germany and Mexico.

We are looking for a locally based professional with 3-5 years of experience in natural gas demand connections in the United States, who will own the gas connection and capacity-assurance process for ABEI’s data center projects. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

What You'll Do:

• Own the natural gas connection process and the securing of gas capacity for ABEI data center projects in the United States.

• Identify and evaluate the viable gas connection options for each project (utility distribution service, interstate or intrastate pipeline laterals, and other supply arrangements).

• Take part in defining new work areas for new projects, assessing gas availability and capacity as an input to site selection.

• For existing projects, review and propose alternative viable ways to connect gas and secure capacity.

• Manage applications, studies, agreements and schedules with gas utilities, pipeline operators and other gas suppliers.

• Coordinate with the Development, Engineering and Design, Environmental and Legal teams on gas needs, routing, permitting and contract terms.

• Track gas capacity, cost and timing for each project and flag risks early to the project developers and to Engineering.

• Represent ABEI Energy with gas utilities, pipeline operators and landowners.
